<p>Thanks everyone for your answers! I thought there may be a special term for the composition or portraiture (or style), but you all have set me straight. <br>
I only have digital cameras at my disposal, so that'd be the route I'd go, although I'm definitely not very skilled in Photoshop, or image editing in general beyond the basics (color manipulation, filters, cropping, etc).<br>
However, I'll take a look at what I can learn based on your information and direction. </p>
