I have a Canon RebelT3i with the standard 18-55 and 55-250 IS lenses. They both work perfectly on autofocus. I also have a Canon 50mm non IS lens that does not autofocus on the T3i body. I was thinking that something was wrong with the lens and I wanted a ring flash so I ordered the Canon Macro Lens 100 2.8 USM - non IS -lens and the Canon MR-14E II macro ring lite. They arrived today. The lens does not autofocus. I've talked to a Canon rep already today and she assures me that both lenses should focus on autofocus. I think it is odd that both IS lenses work fine on autofocus and both nonIS lenses don't. Does anyone else have that problem?
