1.
Hello,

I am completely new to photography, and I have recently got a Canon EOS 7D. I don't currently own any equipment other than two lenses (Sigma 70-300mm F4-5.6 APO DG Macro and Canon EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM) and a tripod. However, I am stuck with taking photos of my very muscular boyfriend... I can't emphasize his abs, chest, or arms correctly, and I am not sure what I am doing wrong. For example, he has very large arms, but they always look small in my photos. How should I stay, and how should I position him? The same goes for his chest and abs.
I was wondering if someone could help me with some position ideas for both him and me (as the photographer)? Any advice would be very much appreciated. I know the topic is broad, but I am willing to try anything as long as I can properly emphasize his best physical qualities.

Many thanks!
