The last Tsar of Russia was born Nikolaus Alexandrovich Romanov on May 18, 1868 in the Alexander Palace near St. Petersburg. "Nicky", as he is called in family circles, lives isolated from the outside world and has hardly any contact with the population. The tsar uses violence to end unrest and demonstrations, and the opposition is spied on by the secret police. On the night of July 16/17, 1918, they were shot dead by a Bolshevik firing squad. First the tsar and tsarina, then the children. The killers bury their bodies in a nearby wooded area. How will Putin fare? -
