  1. Please note that I use/used a Canon ELPH 300 hs. There is no way I could've clicked a 'real macro'. If there are ways to click better close-up images using a compact camera, I would love to know and learn!
  2. First of all, I want to thank you for critiquing one of my photos. :-) What I love about this image is that it looks surreal, yet natural. The fact that the subject is looking away from the camera adds an element of interest. The subject is correctly exposed and definitely draws the attention of the viewer. I agree with Scott Murphy. The already awesome image would've looked more awesome if it were cropped vertically. I look forward to seeing more of your amazing work!

    Hey, there! I am new to photo.net and trying to get my head around the way how things actually work here. I love clicking abstracts and this photo, is one of my favorites. I would like to know what you think about it and if there's anything I could do, to improve.
