The tower is the tallest building on Cape Cad easily seen from 20 miles away on a clear day. This picture was taken inside the tower looking up at the switch back stair alignment -
Each year, scores of talented college baseball players flock to Cape Cod to participate in the Cape Cod Baseball League. Admission is free but the hot dogs will set you back $1.00. Most games begin around sunset. -

Was walking through a wooded area in Branford CT on an overcast day. Made a left turn off the path and saw this glorious explosion of greenery. -
One of the special aspects of summer on Cape Cod are Cape Cod Baseball League games. The most well known amateur baseball league in the country, each summer the very best college baseball players come to the Cape to compete. One interesting part of the league is that players use wooden, rather than aluminum, bats. All games are free and I took this picture at sunset on July 4th. It captures a bit of Americana for me. -
