    girls doing makeup

Shot in a restaurant, the girls were doing makeup while waiting for their dishes. It ws around 7:00pm and the light inside was quite dim. I put my camera on my table with auto focus on - kind of "shooting from the hip". The camera was a old Minolta 404si with ISO 100 film. I can't recall the exposure combinataion. This image is scanned from the negative. Comments will be highly appreciated.

  8. Thank you Jorge: you really make me say: why didn't I see it!
  9. Hi, can anyone give me a hint how I can make the people inside the barber shop more visible? I had a CPL on the lense but was not very helpful, maybe I should come back later when there is light inside? Any other comment on this picture is highly apprecitated. Thanks

  11. Hi, William: Thank you for your constructive comment. Actually, I did take one shot for the same scene with higher exposure level. From that one, I can see the window at the far end which barely shows here. So I guess bring the exposure up a little bit would be a good idea, but there is one thing I am not very confident about: when I do so, the color of the dark night is not so “dark”, it contains some “yellow color” (sorry I do not how to describe this correctly), I know I can probably get rid of the “yellow” in Light Room but will it get down the exposure as well? Anyway I’ll try it. Thank you again. Yunnong
