I like your style and this picture

Any critique is welcome !

I wanted to take a picture of a dressing gown and shadows. The light in the

window that create the shadow on the wall could have been stronger, but I like

the rustic feel.

Timo, thank's for your positive comment.  Do you have any thoughts on what is making this a good picture ?

I like the simplicity, the lines and the untouched snow. I agree with the comment about the vinget

Ooops I forgot to scale it

I have now converted the picture into black and white.  How I see it, the contrast should been stronger.  I guess, use of flash, had helped and maybe a bit higher aperture ?

Thank's both of you for taking time for giving me constructive feedback.  If I can find this flower again, today, I will try to take the shot one more time, or several times :)  I am looking forward to that. I hope I manage to improve.

The corner is a bit embarrasing.  I must have posted the wrong version of the picture. The sky was grey and the light was flat. As Mike pointed out the color in the picture is flat.  I am planning to retake the picture when the sun is rising, perhaps with some flash.  I did not have a flash with me last time, now it's added to my standard equipment that I have with me.   

Andres I will try to convert this picture into black and white and see what happens. I have some versions of the picture without the yellow light.  I thought it gave the picutre some color.  

The line in the background is chosen to give the flower bud contrast, else it's all white but if I get the opportunity I will experiement with placing the line, train track, in different places in the background.

Then it's only to do it all :)

I like the simplicity, straight horizontal lines combined with vertical lines.

Your comment is very welcome !  Maybe next year I will send this baubles to friends and family.  It's the composition I normally have my focus on. Lightning is another big area that I have not experimented that much with yet.

For me, this picture represent the naive hope nationalism can give to people.

I like the color combination sharp red and yellow.  Maybe the picture would benefit from changing the angle to remove the brick wall
