Thanks, Greg, Pierre,
Will post the other b&w version I got soon. I thought it was a good shot, but not great. I am still unable to pinpoint to what makes it a better image.

Fantastic composition, great B&W picture! Captures the mood very well.

Thanks, Bela.
The sky was very interesting. Though it took me some effort to get the light OK. There wasn't much room for the shot as there was a swamp in front of me. Other angles included electrical wires!! Had to do with whatever space I had.
I just turned on the high contrast and got the effect in B&W. Did not tweak the sky much.

Thank you, Bela. I did think it was a good shot!
We could spend hours in this temple complex and get great pictures. Every corner tells a story.

Thanks, Bela,
The architecture certainly tells the tale of a grand civilization. This complex is the main "Ankor Wat" of cambodia. This was the only shot I could get of all the 5 domes (or gopuram). It is nice you mention Kali Yuga pointing to some kind of a cyclical time!

Ah! I did not hike in the Bryce. So, I missed. More things to do in Bryce. Some of the great views are during long hikes, but carrying camera and gear is tough! This is a great picture and a great view.

Bela,
This lone tree can stand on its own in the 'grand' canyon and make the canyon background. Isn't that neat? I have a few such shots, but I took them when I was really learning, not worth sharing. But they were the ones that caught my attention
