    Zebra

    Recently came across articles & pictures depicting how powerful the B&W Medium is.This is my attempt on the same. Zebra is the least lucky when it comes to camouflage, or so it seems. I tried to see it through the eyes of the lion, who is its chief predator... Nature, after all made Lion color blind for a reason ;). Picture is also on FB & 500px.

The grey market item is available as I see.<br /> Maury - Thanks for your response, though its not entirely helpful.<br /> I know I have the option to cancel, I didnt need to come and post on this forum to know that.<br /> As I mentioned in my original post, I had placed the order when the lens had a 100$ rebate, which has since expired; so I wouldnt want to do the cancel reorder option.(yes I care about $100)<br /> Also, when I placed the order it was out of stock @B&H, Amazon etc as well. All of them have gotten it back in stock.If the manufacturer didnt send the new stock to Adorama but to everybody else, then I would have a problem with ordering from them in the future.<br /> I have contacted Helen from Adorama - I believe I would get a better answer than "cancel and go elsewhere".</p> <p> </p>

  5. <p>Please move this to the appropriate forum if this is not the right place; This is my first post<br /> I hope somebody from Adorama see this message and give me a proper response.<br /> I placed an order for a nikon 85 1.8 from adorama, when the 100$ rebate for this lens was still on.(In hindsight, I was better of going with another seller? Rest of the world has it in stock) Placed the order on June 12th, knowing that it was backordered.Today 8th August, I am out of patience.<br /> What is frustrating is not the delay itself, but lack of proper updates from Adorama. Every two weeks, I get an automated email saying they are sorry about the unavailability; and I could cancel the order if I wish - Well thanks!! I have called up customer service atleast 3 times, asking for an ETA and I always hear the same answer "We do not have an ETA from the manufacturer; you may cancel your order if you wish". This doesnt sound like a nikon issue, or is it that you are Nikon's least preferred vendor?<br /> Why is it that adorama doesnt have even an ETA, when your neighbour has it already in stock, and amazon is tempting me with same day delivery?? Is it that you would like people who ordered with the rebate cancel their order and then you sell it full retail?<br /> I was planning to take summer pics of my family this year with the lens, but I dont think I will see it until snow falls. Do you hear Adorama - All i need is a date???</p> <p> </p>
