Moonset at sunrise. Is there enought to attract you here or does
this lack a central point of interest?
-
Does the movement of the blurred leaves distract?
-
I checked this one agianst the file I sent and it appears different online. The one I sent is more saturated.

Love to hear critiques

Everyone loves this but as the photographer I'm not sure. I just
think I've seen it done before and better. And I feel like if you
shoot a cliche', it should be above the rest. What do you think?
-
This one and a couple of others in the folder are going in a local
gallery. I'm pretty excited and wondering what aspects to keep
working on, what needs improving?
-
I'm curious about color-shift. If I had done a 1 minute exposure at
f32, how would this have looked different?
-
Why is this receiving the highest ratings of my panoramics. I have a
gallery that is wanting to hang some and I plan on starting with
three. Any recomendations?

Although the scan could be better in regards to the shadow detail,
there is nothing wrong with the lower left. That is the different
colored soils blending together from erosion and how the "Paintied
Hills" got thier name. Always looking for honest and constructive
critiques. Thanks.

I had a Fuji panoramic medium format camera for about 2 weeks.
Please check the rest of the folder and let me know what you think.
Thanks

The Oregon Country Fair is a 3 day event like no other. I was trying
to capture the free-spirited nature of the fair. What do you think?

Simple lighting... one bounce flash and some hotlights from the lower
left. How could I have gotten more seperation from the background?
-
Was this auto exposure or did you set it? You didn't say and you also didn't mention what film. It is a little over exposed and the girl's face is under exposed. Use a flash or ask her to move the fabric and get some sun on her face. The composition is very interesting and informative in a travel kind of way. I might have cropped tighter to eliminate the face in the lower left corner. Don't let that sound negative, I really like this photo. It is a great first effort.

I love how the shadows are as interesting as the flower. I think a smoother wall might actually improve this image, less to look at and more emphasis on the shadow.

I work at a TV station in Oregon and they wanted to update the news
set. This image will be displayed behind the anchors as a 10 foot
DuraTrans. We just got the final print and I think it looks
fantastic but I am a little biased. This was my first time using a
Fuji pano camera and my first time shooting with medium format film.
The station got a couple of quotes from some local pros but did not
want to spend the $3500 to $5000. Then they decided to hold a
contest and get people to send in stuff. Since I am trying to start
my own business, I talked them into letting me try it if they would
pay for the right equipment. They didn't pay me for it (except a lot
of overtime) but they will be putting my website on the credit of 4
news shows a day. So is this a good way to get recognition or am I
going anger some of the pros that gave quotes? The station had
already decided to go the cheaper route so I didn't really steal the
job. And it was a great experience and I have shots that I like even
better than this one. Anyway, how do you like to picture?
Thanks,
Bryan

That is the most amazing color I have ever seen from TMax

Just curious about what others think. Is it entertaining or
frightening? How about the levels? Did I do alright there?
-
Just looking for general comments. Thanks

It's hard to take a bad sunset picture in Puerto Vallarta. I do wish
the boat were a little more prominent. Does the sky hold your
interest or does it need a stronger subject?
-
I submitted a close-up from this session and recieved some honest
(harsh) feedback. How is this one. The lighting was done with TV
studio lights and a Metz off camera to the left.

I shot the photos in this folder at the final tryouts for the US
Olympic Snowboard Team. I just started shooting action so I would
appreciate any comments on this photo or the rest of the folder.
Thanks.

Since I work at the local TV station, I was fortunate enough to get a
press pass for the final tryouts for the US Olympic snowboard team.
I got most of my best shots using my 35-70mm 2.8 from the side of the
pipe but noticed most of the pros with huge teles at the bottom of
the pipe. I would love to hear some comments from people that shoot
the big lenses. Of course any comments are welcome. Please check
out the rest of the folder too. Thanks.

This was the finals for the US Olympic snowboard team. I am just
starting to shoot action. Any comments on this or the rest of the
