1.
well i do own a 5d mk3 for my daily purpose ,well my aim is that i just wanted to get some feel of the film photography , i wont be clicking much so processing cost i dont mind , rather than that i wanted the camera that is quite antique and as well as able to click decent images , ive heard that there is a substitute for the mercury cells and i did love the sharp pictures posted on the net from the electro 35 camera , but i loved the feel and look of the box cameras which attracted me more towards them , but i really dont know if the box ones will be a right choice as i dont want my first buy to set me down.
next point im worried about is the size of the digital scanned , isnt the 35mm scanned too small ? i wanted it to be atleast quite large like most standard digital camera sizes atleast. i checked out the dslr method of scanning the films, dont know how effective it is but that seemed quite economical as i wont be spending in processing then .
fred - nice point there , yup ill prefer a better quality over total number of frames shot
dave - that helped to clear a lot of my doubts ! , well the batteries in the electro 35 cameras are not there , so how do i check if its working ? isnt electro supposed to mean fully electronic mechanism ? so will the shutter work without battery ?
