<p>Hi. <br />I just bought a 503cw and the insert in the film back is stuck. I was gonna load the film and the insert would not come out more than a few millimeters. I also could not lock it back in place, theres a springy resistance to the locking "knob" preventing it from catching.<br />I finally got it out by removing the dark slide and putting a little preassuer on the film preassure-plate, this got it unstuck from the housing.<br /><br />with the insert removed i still can not get the locking "knob" to click into place, there is still the springy resistance. Looking at the insert it looks like the "knob" is supposed to lift/press the film preassure-plate towards the opening in the film back and make it stay in place, but it only lifts one half of the preassure plate.<br />I hope this was understandable :-)<br /><br />Any one experienced this before? Can i fix it myself?</p>
