<p>The 85mm PC Micro-Nikkor is a marvellous performer. Since the E-version is out, you may get the old one for a bargain. It is a fine, fine and very fine lens. The old version you can stop way down and you can have "useful" shots even @ f22. That`s impressive. But to be honest, I am not entirely sure what you seek ;) <br> I couple it with a Nikon pk-12 and pk-13 extension tube. I would love to own a Nikon pn-11. Some day perhaps, when I grow up.<br> Those tubes with, let`s say, a f2.8/180mm ED are in general great fun.<br> (Btw., I would love to try out the 45mm PC-E. I know the (old) 85mm PC and the 24mm PC.)</p>
