Thank you Jim , it is a wonderful site indeed ! It will long be remembered , the timing to go to the Bekaa was perfect . Thanks again for commenting , have a great week !

  1. Hi Peter , this is a photo that i have re-processed since it was uploaded to PN quite a while ago ... as a matter of fact the sky that takes up much of the frame was indeed darkened in my last version and it does look finer in appearance in deeper shades of grey although the scene was taken as is ( numerous planes follow that path, location is near an airport ) in mid-evening so the sky then was even lighter than in here therefore to make it to pop i slightly deepened the sky but frankly in the new version it is stronger...i wish i could load up that last version here as i did to other sites where it got some attention it would certainly be well in line with your approach and now mine too . Thanks  Peter , your feedback is always appreciated ! Best regards ,

Very kind of you Tony to share the link to your Carcross folder , it'll be a pleasure to peruse and comment too , superb photos in there ! This must be the car trip of a lifetime for sure , indeed there and back in 6 weeks seems a tad short considering the huge distance and the majestic scenery along the way that is to die for ! Your collection is impressive , thanks for sharing it ! Greetings

  2. Thank you Andres for your comment on my photo , i will try it vertically as this sounds a very good idea to try out , deeply appreciated ! Sorry for the late response, i am not here so often , warm greetings

  3. It's a head scratching enigma indeed , probably only the person who put it up there in the first place has the answer to that and why is there a wire attached to the doll ..well so it seems from the angle , that really has me wondering ! Good eye to spot it too ! Have a great week Holger

  4. Thanks for the generous reply Tm J , truly appreciated . An all green-toned backdrop might have been nicer as you put it but frankly a touch of colors here and there isn't too distracting either . Get that knee checked , just in case my friend and keep up the good work !

  5. The bird appears even more graceful in the larger format , btw did you shoot the osprey in flight somewhere in town, it baffles me to see the different forms and colors standing out in the BG , a window to the left perhaps , oh anyway, not nitpiking at all just wondering where you captured  this sharp-eyed winged hunter ! Thanks for sharing

  6. Couldn't help but read your reply to Mike above, it all makes sense really , hey , you did find the right spot , since you are a keen birder you ought to know where to position yourself for the best shots , that one is stunnig , there is even a slight bokeh to enhance the passing cormorant , the sharply focused bird's vivid blue eye is truly something to stare at , very well done !

Love those colors a lot , sure Yukon has autumn color changing of the leaves too and it is very well displayed in this undeniably colorful landscape, a pity though this enchanting image can only be admired in that single small-sized version...there is plenty to be appreciated and praised about in here for me to be wishing to put Carcross region on my next to visit in fall list ! Thanks Tony for sharing
