This is a poignant picture, the youth of the world is always connected. I like his position, it appears uncomfortable but highly artistic, good stuff my friend!
  2. I have always liked the abstract qualities of the Urban Landscape, it certainly provides a different perspective to photography. I like this segment of the city you choose to shoot, good reflective stuff, very nice leading lines, good natural colors.

Hello Michael, my wife had to take and art class so I have been helping her, I hope I am a help. One of the old masters of photography she is studying is Alfred Stieglitz and the image was sun and shadow in a table, sorry, I cant remember the name. What impresses me about that and your post is photographers can take everyday objects and turn them into art. I wonder, would this have worked in a painting? Photography is such a unique medium and presents the abstract world I feel the best. Well done, you caught my attention with this. I like how you are able to take the modern world images with an old mast flair. Good eye to pick up the pattern the cars make. Nicely done with your conversion to black and white to give this a dramatic effect. You captured the different tones brilliantly ~
  7. I have to say Dr Mark, your images gives us the impression that you are having fun with your craft. You always provide us an unexpected twist. I do like the pose and look on our friend Sal.
  8. Strong detail in the piece Charles, coupled with good lighting you have a well received image. Also I like the effective cropping going on here.

    Ventagli Rossi

I like the creative lighting on this project, it provides a different perspective of the common flower. With that lighting you managed to get good detail on the hairs on the stems, nicely done.
  10. Scott, I like the nip you put on this project, it gives us a sense of heat, hot , sweltering, you made us feel, bravo!

I honestly feel that with out the hard work of photographers documenting the homeless, I feel the word, or at least a visual would never be noticed. The black and white conversion adds a dramatic feel to this documentary

Dr Mark, great stuff, I like your work and the tribute you gave to Lou Reed, well done manipulation my friend.
  13. In the modern city you have a different perspective.

    Streetcar 265

I like the manipulation you placed on this post, it defiantly would help me in my reenactment images of the Civil War, thanks for the idea. I like the reflection off the windshield of the trolley, this is composed nicely
  15. Simplistic and and highly artistic. I think for me the lines you have pulled out in this image impresses me the most, limited in color you have defined boarders which is pleasing. From the black and white of the walkway to the shadow of her legs and feet, this personally is, bad ass.

    Imperfection

Very nice composition Victor, this image really leads our eyes from one end to the other, the blackness is just punctuated by the green, well done fine art piece.
  17. Very nicely done my friend, I really like your composition and how we move left to right. The conversion to black and white is well done and with the sharpness makes this a dramatic image to view.

    Back to Square One

Very nice action shot, I like how the right foot is stretched out, great facial expression on our brass playa. The background is great, you can tell the musicians are really into it, I like the word "Square" in the back, well done
  19. Very nice actions capture Ann, you managed to get pristine detail in this post, good natural colors surround the well composted essay.

    Munich-17

Nicely done, I have always like the man made abstract view, a delightful subject for the photographer. To me, this looks like a woman, with voluptuous curves and smooth skin.
  21. I like the creative cropping you placed on this piece, highly different and very effective. The detail in the pedals’ is stunning and you licked the right angle of light, nicely done
  22. The Crab Apple tree shot in Infrared
  23. To me there is nothing like the abstract world of the Urban Landscape. Man has made shapes and colors pleasing to the human eye, the photographer bring a part of his world into yours.

    behind glass

What does the facial expression say? The tiger in the zoo have the same routine day after day. They are unable to engage with other creatures of their type, compete for food, love, space. It keeps the mind active, alert. They are fed the same cold food every day never needing to know what its like to go hungry and the survival instincts take hold. They are our prisoners and you have captured the essence of the entire system, bravo.

Certainly a different approach, I like the overloaded black space as your eyes follow downward to the explosion of color you presented us with today, nicely done.
