1.
Hello all,
I have a couple of questions:

1. Can anyone make a recommendation as to which current printers can print on actual cotton rag watercolour paper?

2. I got a guy to print a few of my black line art illustrations on true water colour paper for painting. He uses an Epson machine. I am trying to to find out whether it would be okay to stretch the printed paper or not... Stretching involves soaking the paper by submerging it in water for up to 10 minutes, then putting it on a stiff board and taping it down so that it dries in this expanded state (the water-saturated fibers swell). This process prevents warping of the paper as the watercolour paint applied to it dries. Normally this is done on blank sheets so there is no issue, but I am concerned that the water will completely ruin the print by causing the ink to dissolve. He says the ink is waterproof. I painted on a print like this before, and it was fine, but soaking it in water is different. Secondly, I am concerned that the the final result will be that the once clear, continuous lines will now not be continuous as the fibers they were printed on move apart. Anyone have any experience with this?
Thanks!
