1. To begin with I am far from being a Professional Photographer but I have been doing this photo thing for over 50 years. I love landscape photography so being stuck home kind of makes that problematic, my house plants are planning to revolt soon. I spend a lot of time learning Lightroom...finally, and listening to music. One song in particular that struck a chord with me as to how it was "before" but also encompasses "now" and what will return to be is this: I will be 70 in July and retired on Dec. 31st hoping to finally devote much more time to photography but will just have to stay healthy and wait it out. Sucks but that's life!

She has a contagious smile that I just love! It truly brightens up these troubling times.

...and she does it so well. Beautiful capture!
  4. john_decker2

Nice how she semi-imitates the painting behind her.

A nice portrait...it"s not always about nudes.

    First Snow

Gorgeous! Almost makes me like winter and snow and cold and...
  7. She has such an infectious smile in this and all of her pictures. They all make me smile!

    Tiny island

    Stunning in it's simplicity!

    A very captivating smile!

This may be one of my favorites...well, one of many anyway. I especially like the addition of the robe as it cuts down a bit of the "in your face" nudity.
  11. Wow!! Love the depth and dreamlike atmosphere.

    Love her expression.
  13.
Well Rodeo Joe, since I have owned this lens for 26 years I'm pretty sure I've taken at least one picture with it.
Does it bother you that I am curious as to why this lens has an extra letter? No, I don't believe that it will affect the picture quality I just posted this question to get dumb replies like yours cuz' that's what I live for.

  14.
Thanks for the info Dave! I will definitely check it out.
I also posted the question on the apug.org site and a fellow there also has an EEI 135 WF Ektar. His is 1242 which could be made in the same month theoretically since the numbers a so close. Hmmm... the plot thickens!

  15.
If someone went to all that trouble to engrave their or their company's moniker of sorts they sure did a nice job. So very close to the front cell seems just a bit risky, but stranger things have been done.
Mis-engraved...nah, I like to think it's some sort of rarity that has been waiting to be discovered and when found and reported will bring it's owner fame and fortune!

Now just who do I report it to?

  16.
I have a 135mm f6.3 Wide Field Ektar. It is a 1948 model with a quirk. The serial number has three letters. E followed by a space and then EI with four numbers. I can't find nor have I ever seen another with three letters. Any ideas?
Thanks.

  17.
I have had, for many years, an Ilex 6 inch f3.5 Seminat lens w/ 16 aperture blades, no shutter. Does anyone know anything about it? Google has not been helpful at all, nor ebay, or anywhere else I have looked.
Thanks!!
