<p>Hello all,<br> First time posting here.<br> Recently found out about this beautiful formation of ice caves in apostle island Lake Superior.<br> I am in Iowa and planning to be there over weekend given its open, see its opened for public last week,<br> First time visiting this place, cannot find any friend who interested in such adventure.<br> How safe is it to go alone? seems like 1+ mi slippery walk over Superior, weather can turn bad in no time, me dunno swimming, skiing, dunno what to expect?<br> Appreciate if anyone can share the experience.<br> Planning to take my rugged K-5 with wide angle lens to shoot, not sure best time to shoot.<br> Any other suggestion, help appreciated.</p> <p>Have a wonderful time all fellow travelers!!!<br> Thanks!!</p>
