<p>Thought I'd end this thread with a follow up - I'm back from Banff and Jasper. The views were fantastic and I'll be processing photos for days. I wasn't fortunate enough for all the snow and ice to have melted for those treasured crystal blue water shots, but I was lucky enough to spot a couple of grizzlies and capture well enough to be satisfied with a couple of prints. <br> I was also lucky enough to capture the northern lights while I was there. For anyone who has never been, the views are breathtaking and I highly recommend it.</p>

I have had incredible luck amd have found a free flight to Calgary at the end of April for a conference. Im going to take am extra week and drive out to the mountains (Banff and not sure where else). Anyone have an idea of whether the snow should be gone? I need to book my flight by Friday so its kinda all about the quality of the shots to determine how early I go before the conference. Thanks!
