This is both a color and BW version of the same image, an image of a
woman named "Nicole" who I interviewed and took imagery of as part
of my documentary photojournalism project "Women of the Sex
Trades". "Nicole" spent time working on web sex act streaming and as
an alcoholic, wasn't sure if she drank to cope with it or whether she did
it to get the money to drink.
The goal of the project is to show real women and how their work in the
sex industry has affected them.
I can't decide on this image which one I like better. Color or BW? Your
thoughts appreciated...

excellent use of color in this very warm and inviting image. The model however doesn't look comfortable, though that's being fairly nit picky about it... I love the floor pattern and use of color along with the models hair, lipstick and skin tone... they compliment each other greatly! Good job!

I have to be honest, the model's tattoos make the picture, but after that, I notice the shadows...
Wonderful image!

A lovely image, good use of the rule of thirds, great angle... Would love to see a B+W version of this, or perhaps infared but the color version is compelling. The off center life preserver is a nice touch!

Point Bonita Lighthouse is an active lighthouse located at Point Bonita at
the San Francisco Bay entrance in the Marin Headlands near Sausalito,
California. The lens is a fixed, second-order Fresnel lens, purchased
from Paris France in 1855. Your thoughts appreciated...

Well done. Love the watercolor type look to it... romantic and mysterious...

A very good nude image. The woman in the foreground with the tattoo - the image works well, tonal values look good, and not too explicit. However a distraction is the woman on the right hand side, blurry in the background. My opinion only, it takes away from the image and is a distraction to me.
Maybe just an issue of personal taste, but on the whole, I give the image an 8/10.
Good Job...

Very nice color tone, subtle and yet bold. Good use of the rule of 3's as well, I especially like the clouds at the top fo the image and the 3d quality of them.

Very nice treatment of this, it looks to be infared. Love the clouds.

It's a stunning sky, and I don't know if the master image is a vertical orientation, but I think that a horizontal orientation would still give you that beautiful foreground but also showcase the sky a little better.
Still just a stunning image...

Excellent reflection image.... very stunning. Is it a dirty mirror in the background that you are using for the reflection?

Well done, nice off center crop, stunning image...

Excellent image! Best part about the painted hills is that as the light changes throughout the day, and seasons change, no two images look the same. Love the wildflower foreground on this pointing at the area I like to call "the two toes". Colors are a nice deep rich rust color.
Constructively, the image does seem a little dark, wondering if you punched up the red color just slightly if that might brighten it.
All in all, a great image!

Never seen anything quite like this.... great presentation, good depth of field...

Great job on this one...

Jeff, first let me tell you that I think that your crop of this is spectacular. i like the river in the fore and middle ground. I do think that if you slowed the shutter speed, it would add to the ambiance of the image simple because of that milky white look.
But, the bell has already been rung so to speak so on this image, maybe punch up the color just a bit, not huge adjustments, but enough that the reds on the right hand side bank might pop just a little bit.
I love the presentation... where was this taken?
