This type of backlighting often produces interesting results. One must balance the exposure carefully in order to preserve both the highlight and shadow details. -

Although I often use bold colors in my pictures I also have consentrated on creating B&W images. Strong colors in scene are often desirable. With B&W images you must have strong subject and contrast. the composition should be also be strong and well planned.
