Although I often use bold colors in my pictures I also have consentrated on creating B&W images. Strong colors in scene are often desirable. With B&W images you must have strong subject and contrast. the composition should be also be strong and well planned.

Good landscape image with great colors! You might try cropping the picture to 16:9 format. This way you can place the horizon more offcenter according to all rules and regulations of classic landscape imagery..

This type of backlighting often produces interesting results. One must balance the exposure carefully in order to preserve both the highlight and shadow  details.
