Out on Lake Fewa, Nepal. Opinions and improvements in overall
composition appreciated, I know it is not as sharp as it could be
but was taken on a digital camcorder... its the composition I want
critique on. please leave message if you make a rating. thank you

This is my first try at macro, but I only had my camcorder to hand.
Any hints or tops to improve the overall outcome, the camcorder does
not do very sharp images, so next time I'll use an SLR
-
I really like this image as it makes me feel like smiling (or eating a two layered spinge cake)!! lovely effect of the water on the lower rocks. do you recommend the 300D?
-
only had my sony digital camcorder handy when I went to South East
Asia... wish I had my SLR but what do you think of this image
anyway... could be sharper, I know. any tips to enhance it /
digitally modify?
-
any ideas how I can manipulate this incredibly cute photo so that I
can reduce the glare from the bright sand in the back.
-
this is a fantastic image but I take it you scanned at a lower resolution? there seems to be a graininess to the photo. lovely colours
-
how can I improve on this photo? what is good, what is bad? techniques for this type of photography, please give critique. thank you for rating also.
-
Constructive critisism greatly appreciated...
-
i want to take images like this but being 10miles from central london i have no chance... how did you do it using just the camera itself.
-
Is this a dragon moray eel? well it's a really good image. have just started underwater photography, using rented equipment that comes to hand on a dive... no really beauties yet.
-
A fantastically lucky shot, only come by because the first boat was
missed and so had to stay on the island another night. Opinions
please, constructive critisism would be appreciated.

I am very impressed with the crop on this image... so often people go for absolute symmetry when using water for reflections... this makes the image a lot more interesting as you have to use imagination in wondering what is above the yellow.
-
common theme recently... might try my own match photo. the flame could be a little sharper and unfortunately does not seem to be very 'interesting'
-
i absolutely love this photo, the dramatic sky is amazing, the only thing that could be better is if the bright lights on the right were dimmed down a bit, the glare is too much
-
strange thing that you can see more detail and colour saturation in the reflection, had to do a rotation to make sure you hadn't put it in upsidedown to catch us out. dig the ink blot thing, 'reminds me of my first dog' (psyche)
-
feels as thought the building is leaning to the left of the picture, probably an artifact of not being dead centre on taking the shot.
-
love the way the colours run downwards and the way it looks as though the mountains are reflected in the clouds. nice... don't you wish all people gave a bit more than, 'nice image, thanks 6/6'
-
are you sure? no reflection of moon in water, no light from moon on trees?
Lovely image though, the benefit of a lovely country is the images you have

Please critique

As always I love the pictures of sunset on loon beach, the rocks make a nice rough contrast to the soft gradient in the colours of the sky. the only distracting point is the slope of the beach wrt the horizon, it draws the eye towards the far right, but maybe that was intended. Overall would say a definite 6/5

My first attempt at dive photography, pretty sure it's a white
margin unicorn fish, can anyone confirm this? opinions please

colour is everything in this shot, it is perfect the way the lizard and the background colour complement each other.
