I like the reality of this shot compared to the created atmosphere of the high-key one(s). Nice!
-
I really like the split lighting - the shadow on her neck

Daamn, reminds me of peoples' souls being stolen in Final Fantasy (that movie no one liked).. Very evocative and caught my eye after a few bland entries!
Was this altered, or were the lights their respective colours?

mmmm.. I love high-key shots.. The tones on her lips, underside of the nose and her eyes/eyebrows are so nice. Bascally, anything that wasn't blown out looks great, and I love using my imagination to fill in what is not there.
Very nice shot!

...it's bending my mind! Great tones - I love how the bricks just continue into infinity in the background.
Maybe this is where you go when you die. You sit down one-on-one with your maker and have a lil' chat.

Gorgeous imagery. Ignore the naysayers, this is genuinely wonderful. It gives you a lot to look at, and you can pick out new details every time. Who cares what system or medium it was created with, it's still something that requires talent and creativity to do. I think the image without the photoshopping would be great as well. Beautiful work.

Delicious picture. Screw focus, screw horizon. It looks good, it feels good, so "rules" be damned, it IS good! Do people not read the comments before posting? The effect is clearly some kind of jpeg artifact, I can't see a reason why anyone would want to do that "watercolour" effect to this picture... that's like splashing varsol on the Mona Lisa. To an extent! :)

Lighting and contrast are fabulous! What lighting did you use to get this lovely effect? Amazing image. Congrats!

Pretty self-explanatory, here. Talk to me about cropping, some. I
tried a version cropped in on the right, so she was up against the
edge, which I think adds some tension, but others didn't like it. So
I put it back to square one (so to speak..;)

Gorgeous. Like little marionettes, dancing in the wind taken in by their casters. I really like this shot, spoke to me, let's say. The abstract imagery works VERY well, and the contrast provided is clear and sufficient. I find I like these randomly provided "front page" shots more than the POWs, consistently. Well done.

In the middle of a shoot, the model's classmate knocked on the door.
We let him in, and he showed her some of his recently developed
negatives. It's actually much more interesting than the rest of the
shoot..I think.

Please rate and comment if you can.. this is my second time posting
this, just want a fresh batch of eyes to see it, really. thanks.

At first I thought this was a wing on an old Wright Brothers type of aircraft, but anyway. I agree with Robert, it's definitely the focus in this one. If the interesting part of the tower were in focus, or if the whole thing were, it'd be much more eye-pleasing. And it can't just be "in focus" - it has to be pin-sharp. My two cents, but I'd like to see this shot again, from a few other perspectives and with a few other techniques.

Android-like is right. And it does look a little infra-red. It's.. quite majestic, isn't it? Something out of a dream or nightmare. The creepiness is the best part.

Really like the grain, it works quite nicely. I like the unique pose, composition, and your beautiful wife/model, keep it up! Give Ilford Delta 3200 a try as well. A little less grainy, but I like the overall tonality of it a lot. Well done!

definitely better luck getting comments! So please critique, I'd
like to hear what you have to say. Thanks!
