<p>I'm doing a little research into the Fuji 617 options and I just thought I would chime in that I have scanned my Xpan negatives on a Minolta 5400 (have to scan twice and stitch), and I have made some lovely prints at 20x54" - now, I can't really imagine going much bigger than that and still loving the quality, but the prints looked fantastic. You can definitely start seeing grain but not in a negative way, it scales up very nicely with a high quality scan.</p>
<p>Which has me wondering how amazeballs a 617 scan would look in comparison...</p>
