1.
Yep. Thanks, guys. What I was missing was the second "scale" on what I thought was just the film speed dial. I didn't realize it ALSO has the aperture settings on it, because the manual says to set the ASA on it and never mentions that it has another function. Now that I discovered that this morning, it all makes sense.
Thanks, again!

 2.
Hi,
I've found all kinds of technical and historical information on this camera on the web, but even the original owner's manual only tells you to turn the "computor ring" until the needle matches up. Which it does, just fine. But they don't tell you how to determine what the reading is!

How do you read the darn thing? I cannot find any marking that makes sense as an indicator for this. The arrow for the film speed might work, except that it often doesn't point to anything except blank metal when the needle is matched. I can't find any other marking to indicate the actual reading. What am I missing?

Thanks!
Dave
PS: I realize the meter is probably inaccurate, and I shouldn't rely on it, but I still want to know how it works.
