By using camera card in reader I avoid win 10 grabbing of images which is setup for sharing on social media and tedious to deal with because II select Capture nx and D to prepare and convert imges to Tiff's and jpgs

Interestingly, Yesterday I used my Fuji X-Pro2 with 56 f1.2 and removed the camera card and put it into a card reader and easily converted and finessed images with Capture NX-D.

I still use Capture NX2:for enhancing images. I always hear " It is no longer supported" and, of course it's true. The control points versus layers is what Iike .I also have Fuji X cameras and lenses. The lab in Japan which developed the software for Fuji also worked on Nikon software.

D850 works well with Capture D but, using same setup with D800, it hangs at Start. Is the stall caused by a step I am not completing or need to download?
