Hi
<p>
I never use the palladio paper but a friend of mine use some and
make nice image on it.
<p>
I will agree with michael that you better not begin with arches paper
if you wan to hand coat. Crane's make really nice paper which work
nice. Arches paper are a little more tricky.
<p>
for any info contact the palladio company

Hi all,
<p>
Some one, here in France, purpose me to buy an Emil Busch Rathenow 'Omnar' Ser II N°4 5,5/255 mm. Lens.
<p>
Does any one ever use this lens and can tell me how good or bad is this lens???
<p>

I use a deardorff and I already use a 90 mm on it. It doesn't cover
but I can focus the infinity. Deardorff is good for wide angle lens.
as we can shift the front without moving the bellows.
<p>
I will take care to the fall off. I hope there is not much.
I last I can use it on my half plate camera.
<p>
thanks.

these series V lenses.
<p>
If they are 110° the 112 should cover 8*10 without a lot of
movement.
And I will be closer to the object so the image circle will be a
little larger, doesn't it?

Hi bruce
<p>
I also live in france. And i just can say that if you want to rent a
field camera as your deardorff it could hard to find even at the
moyen format store at Paris. You could rent a sinar or other studio
camera without problem.
You planned to come with an 8*10 or 5*7.
Because depending on the format it could not so easy to find film.
There is only 3-4 store open to all, in Paris which have large format
film in stock.
<p>
finally as I am aslo a large format user and get in the usa, in greece
in many country of africa with my 8*10 I would just say take your
camera with you, there is no problem to do this.

hello Ron
<p>
I think i is easier to do close using short lens. E.W talk of a 210
lens for hiw pepper still life.
<p>
When I shoot close up I prefer to use short lens As it is easier to
control . For this I use a 210 or an 120 mm lens . With the 120 mm I
can get great ratio factor using all my 8*10 deardorff bellows.
<p>
you can take a look of what I am talking to on my web page in still
life section, all are 8*10 shoot with an 120 mm perigraphe berthiot
<p>
hope it help

hi william
<p>
I totally agree with you. I think that I don't need to overexpose to
obtain good neg for POP Palladium platinum. I do most of my neg
exposing the film at the good iso ( half the normal as I use ABC pyro
developer) and I develop for N+1/2. this give me good rich negative
which print easily without contrasting agent. when you use only
palladium you can develop more. I also try to expose more but I just
find it to block my black.
