Here I am exploring light and shadow on my barbecue propane valve.
Lately, I have been preoccupied with tight shots. What about this
one??

Any thoughts on lighting, expression and overall composition?

What I like about this image are the warm tones of the duck and the
silky smooth water.

I took this in Maine on a very foggy day. I like the "cloudy" feel
that the fog gives the picture. It is almost like a vignette, but a
lot of the details of the trees have been washed out. Does anyone
have any comments or tips for picture taking in very foggy
conditions? Would a polarizer increase the detail in the trees?

I shot this with my Fuji FinePix 3800, which had a maximum apeture of
2.6. The background is blurred, but the dragon fly still blends in.
How could I have made the dragonfly stand out more?
