1.
Last weekend I was playing with Pixelstick on one of my weddings. Still need some practice but its cool.

 2.
Dave - I see u are GFong fan too. I did find it too loose when the camera is upside down on BlackRapids. So what I did is crazyglued top to it and I used plumbing clamp instead of velcro. I figured i will be carry that thing assembled all the time. The problem is vertical - it doesnt keep the weight so I added small rubber and glued a hook to side of the flash :)
check it out.

 3.
Ellis - u bring all that stuff to weddings or it is strictly corporate studio on location set?

 4.
Ralph - I gave up PW TTL - it was just too unreliable. Wonder if they fixed all bugs plus i find it not necessary.

 5.
Thx for sharing very interesting. Forgot abt 105 macro - always need that one for the rings etc

 6.
and the bag is ThinkTank Logistics Manager 30. That big roller is def not for everyone.

 7.
I wanna see if others can share what their game is as far as bag setup for a wedding. I'll start with mine. Some intro: I shoot Nikon, I value shooting time much more than equipment mingling time. I don't need newest models of everything. I carry no external light stand for outdoor shoots. I like to go very wide from ground level and usually use 50 for portraits. Typically i carry 17-35 as main (!), have 28-70 in the bag, 2nd body 80-200 plus 50m on 3rd body. 2 bodies are always on me until the speeches. 3rd body w 50 or 85 is for park or nightshoots. For ceremony and reception I add 1 or 2 Abees by DJ or whatever works zoned with PWPlus3s. I often mix Abee and on camera flash @ reception. Abee is on lowest setting. Both battery powered. Bodies are on double BlackRapid straps with Arca or RRS clamps. Bodies have RRS Lplates with side attached magic arm for PWs. My church setup time is under a minute for Abee both bodies. I like to be shoot ready straight from the bagt. I do carry 3 bodies sometimes but typically I have assistant. Now here is my stuff:
Hope to see how u guys roll.

 8. 24-70 great lens true. But will not give u what 50 1.4 or 85 1.4 can. Thats why i wanted to test 3 bodies. Its an experiment. Maybe ill give it a skip. So far 2 weddings and i like that number 3 with 50mil on it. Got some extra stuff i wouldnt without
 9.
also I tried Nikon PW Ttls but that thing is not reliable and flash mounted on it is wobbly. Dont need TTL. Sold it. PW+3 is my preferred radio.

 10.
Mine is 2xSpeedlight + 2xAB800s + 300LED video light. Often at the same time (except LED of course). I carry AB800s with straps on my back (from and to location/car). I use both on church and reception - sometimes only one. I have them zoned with 4xPW+3s. I always carry 2 bodies (park or engagement even 3). The 2 bodies are D3s with Lshape RRS brackets. Bottom L is Blackrapid mount but via Arca clam. Side of the L is Arca clams (both bodies) with flexible magic arm - the "worm looking one" with "elevated" PW+3 unit on it connected with 5inch synch with screw tightener. I have a Garyfong (i know i know) on one speedlight (the top is superglued) and with custom rubber strip attached to metal hooks on my speedlight door cover (superglue again). THe other Speedlight has just regular cap diffuser. I have Nikon 6 battery powerpack in my pocket for Speedlights.

What does this overkilled, overengineered ninja setup give me? Well I have 2 free hands @ all times. Cameras on BRapids never bounce or hit each other. Upside down mounted SPeedlights never fall or hit the floor even when kneeling. I have full flash flexibility and many options available @ church when everyting is set up. I can be shoot ready @ church within 2 minutes with all strobes up. I dont look for outlets for AB800s ( its pain in church). I started loving shooting AB800 on low power, bit higher ISO and SPeedlights at the same time compensated down. Great for church, 1st dance tights and few other situations. In park i rarely use flash - I prefer not to miss shots vs waste time for setups. I fill only. I do reflector if I have assistant. Raised and flexed PW units give me more connectivity when in vertical position. And I do not miss anything.

LED video light? I got it on trileg monopod with manfrotto RC2 on it. Amazing for night shots and some indoor stuff @ night. Quick and easy.

I have been adjusting this setup for the last 100 weddings. Now i got it nailed I think.
Btw - anyone going to Vegas next year?

 11. Overkill next to SWAT is not far to it ... lol. I know. Ill get u a pic. I have no vest but ive heard "wheres the war rambo" once or twice ;)
 12. Recently I decided i need 3rd one @ park shoot. So after some hits and misses I settled on 3rd body on my chest using think tank top loader 50 series on top of my black rapid dual strap for the other 2 bodies. This way I have quick access to 50mil or 85mil on my 3rd D3 while having 17-35 and 80-200 on the other d3s. Both 50 and 85 lenses can fit in the top loader if needed when 1 is attached. I used this combo once for NYC with slingshot backpack on the back. Gotta tell u it works amazing and i still have both hands free. Wedding park is really good too. It looks little overdone though :) compared to some light 1 body warriors around. Speedlight with gary phong is no problem also ( i use rubber strap and some superglue on gphong to resolve falling off issue )What do u think? Ill see if i have a pic of this "overkill".
