1.
Thanks for the reply JDM von Weinberg! Yeah I am curently in South East Asia and it is hard to find a pns film camera in here. The konica is not really in my favor but I am very interested in the giro 30 AF. I saw the link to the manual you post but it is for the Rollei Giro Zoom. The one that I am asking has a fixed 30mm 3.5 lens which barely has any information online.

00eH9k-566883784.jpg.4a85956860782d517cc646b60ae793b2.jpg

 2.
Hello everyone!
I was offred to buy a Rollei Giro 30 AF by one of the local dealer for 49 USD. The camera is in pristine condition. However, there is little to no information about the giro 30 AF on google. Do you guys have any idea where this camera was come from? Also Is the Konica C35 AF worth buying for 49 USD as well? Thanks and Photo love

 3.
Hello good people!
I recently got my hand on the lovely Fujica GW690. I shot a roll in daylight and everything works great, the photo came out nicely. However, last night, while trying to do a long exposure shot with the camera, I realized that with T setting, the shutter dont keep opening but closed right away. Did I do something wrong or my T setting is broken?
Thank you all!

 4.
Thank you for your answer Tim. I am very amateur to this stuff. When I shot with this camera, I scaled focus it because the viewfinder is useless. The silver on diagonal mirror came off long time ago so no split image. Do I have to extend or retract the lens to shoot? because the image is significantly out of focus not just a little out of focus.

 5.
Hello all!
I just got my hand on a Mamiya press 23 yesterday. The view finder is extremely blurry and I havent found a way to clean it thoroughly. Despite all that, i still shot a roll but the film came out all out of focus. The lens is 100 mm retractable 3.5. The bellow is broken so i did not extend it. Is it necessary to extend the bellow to shoot or not? or the out of focus is because of something else?

 6.
Cheers for your's words...
The thought of joining army did come across my mind sometime...However, there is a reason why I dont want to because I am afraid it will affect my judgement...It is hard to explain in word really...but I want to be neutral...I want my work to help the victim, people who are forced to fight not the people who are willing to fight. I did take some medical and self-defence training for preparation and found them useful.
Noreen, I think you might hit the right spot....poverty, nature disaster, disease....all the terrible things that people know but not there to see and to help...I actually hope to see the good side of our race in these extreme situations rather than only hatred and blood

 7.
Thanks for your words Noreen...
My granddad passed away few years ago and my whole family actually against my idea of becoming war photographer. To be honest, I am scared just to think I am in the middle of battlefield, I tried to settle with whatever my parents choose for me many times. However, whenever I look at my granddad's photos and articles, I feel like I wanna do that job. When my grandpa was alive, he told me way too many horrible things about war but somehow, those stories seem to encourage me.

 8.
Thank you all for your replies. I have given it a lot of thinking, I expect all the horrible things may happen if I have a chance of becoming a war photographer. I remember once my granddad told me: Dont just take photos that anyone can take. I know he was harsh and might be unreasonable to say that but it really changed my way of thinking what a photo can actually do

 9.
Hello everyone,
I am not quite sure if I am in the right category for the question. I am currently a final year economics student. I have been interested in photography for over 10 years and my teacher is my grandfather who was a war photographer in second war world. He inspired me a lot and I want to follow his footstep. However, I dont know where to start as my major is very different to what I want to be due to my parents. I am quite confidence in my photography and writing skills. I do hope everyone can give me some advice so I know how to start.
Thanks

 10.
Hello everyone,
Yesterday, I broke my scanner film holder by mistake. I am trying to look around the internet to buy a new one but they all have bunch of weird names and dont really tell the holder is for 120/220 or 35mm. My formats are mostly 6x6 6x7 and 6x8. So I just want to hear some recommendations from you guys...oh and I am living in the UK so it would be great if you can recommend any (online) store in the UK.
Thank you all very much

 11.
I dont think so but as you mentioned it. I tried to covering one window at time when look through eyepiece. First, cover the left, I cannot see anything but scale distance and a very tiny part of the scene. Second, cover the right, I can see the whole scene but not the scale distance.

 12.
Thank you very much for your answer.

I am not very sure with the part ' two images line up on top of each other' as I can only see one image and no matter how hard I turn the knob only the distance scale changes, everything I see through the eyepiece look the same. Is it broken?

 13.
Hello to you guys
I am a new member to the website.
My grandfather gave me an Isolette Afga with a watameter few months ago.
I have been shooting with the camera quite often now. I am comfortable with guessing the distance to set the focus. However, it would be such a shame not to learn how to use the watameter so I hope you guy can explain to me how to use it.

Thank you very much.
Best regards
