Roger,
I just picked up the book, The best of Robert Doisneau in Paris.
You picture has the same flavor!
I'm a great admirer of Robert Doisneau's works in Paris, and Kertesz, so much so I'm planning a trip next year to Paris. I hope to come back with something.

Thanks for Viewing.

Chip, The shutter time here was about 1/2 a second.

Thank you for your attention.

Stay free!
Be careful getting bogged down with tech stuff. Pay attention to it, but use this image as a reference point. It's a very nice picture.

Yes, Atmospherics are always a plus, as these phenomena don't come along every day. In this case with the mountainside being reflected in the water split with the mist, well this isn't going to happen again, and if it does, who's going to be around in time to catch it? This image keeps the eye busy roaming all around the frame keeping this viewers attention. Fleeting.

Alf,
Wow! That's all.

Good job with the Egrets. Snowy Egrets are my favorite, I still haven't found the shot for me yet, but yours have plenty of inspiration.

Shun,
Stunning shot of this Hummingbird, just the best. I like that there are no competing highlights to distract the eye, also the blue against the green background. The placement of the bird is just perfect.

Clayton,
Thanks, and your right, this place changes every time I've passed by it. Many times just passing by it, but that can be a bad habit using a best past result to prevent another possibility. I've experienced that bad habit, and i'm trying to change it, because even though I shoot for me, I find it interesting what images work and don't work for others, learning through others while maintaining ones own vision is a another balancing act in Photography.

Seeking out the landscape is a work in progress, but sometimes you got to
take a break, and take what comes along the way. I felt like, if the fence
weren't in the way, these calves would have been up for getting
acquainted. Maybe not, I don't really know cattle that well. Maybe it's best
the fence was there.

Raymond,
Stunning! I think you got the most out of this composition. The sky, and the foreground light, just perfect.

Jim,
Well done, and what a great place. I like how the fall moves to the right at an angle, then moves to the left, at an angle. It's not just a frontal right left. Also, the entire frame in focus, nice!

What I also meant to say is, amazing the possibilities.

WOW!
This is a beautiful image, beautifully seen, and yes, Nailed!
Technically, if I may utilize a commentary many would stray away... this is the best result from a D-800 I've seen to date. Obviously that doesn't mean this is the only one but, I mean, yes! This is one great rendition beyond the mainstream from the D-800 unit. State of the Art friends !

Larry,
Great! Just Great. So much there to look at for a long time.

This version a re-post with needed sharpening in the foreground, as
suggested by members. Better.
