It is scary! But a good idea, and I think one thing you can do to improve the shot is with photoshop or a similar program take out the overall blue tone of the photo. This will make the color look more natural

I think the crop is fine just as it is, a square crop would not have the same feeling. I agree that the green makes the right side a little bit heavy, it could work if it was on the left, in my opinion. All in all this is a very nice and peaceful image.

This photo is great! I think you pulled off the sepia tones really nicely, and I agree with you that it looks good being darker. The flat silloette of the town and the detail in the clouds are an interesting contrast that really make the photo especially nice

I really like this, it all seems to work very well. Maybe one improvement in the presentation would be a closer crop, taking out some of the extra black.
  1. I am not trying to go against the grain here or anything, but I personally like the color version best. The colors are so vivid and nice, they are too rich to get rid of! Even if they change the mood. This is my favorite in your portfolio.

one complaint is the strange wavy lines on the crosses?

Wow this is my favorite photo in your portfolio, it is very fun! The original and the suggested crop both have a different feeling, and I like both equally.

This is a nice setting, I would like to see it for myself in real life! I bet there are tons of photos to be had here. Good shot.

I really like the scene here, but I do have two major gripes. The first is the wicker basket on the left (for some reason my eye is always pulled there,) and the second is the slight glare in the window. If you are able to, I would consider taking this from a different angle, and as far as the glare, I am not sure what you can do about that, maybe try a different time of day?

The subject is great and I think the photo is too. If it were mine I probably would have cropped the right side out, or atleast would take a look to see if it might improve the photo. It might not, who knows. I like this shot either way!
