You've really got a knack for architectural photography! They've been great, ever since those very first shots that I remember seeing in your portfolio.
-
nice contrasts, and great portraits

Congrats on the "distorted perspective". It really makes the photo.
-
That is a very cool door. I would suggest cropping it a little bit tighter, taking out the chair on the left and window on the right, and maybe bumping up the contrast a tad.
-
It is scary! But a good idea, and I think one thing you can do to improve the shot is with photoshop or a similar program take out the overall blue tone of the photo. This will make the color look more natural

Likes, dislikes? Comments welcome.
This is a snapshot taken with a Holiday Brownie camera.

I think the crop is fine just as it is, a square crop would not have the same feeling. I agree that the green makes the right side a little bit heavy, it could work if it was on the left, in my opinion. All in all this is a very nice and peaceful image.

I've always wanted to say something about this photo, but feared commenting too much on one portfolio.
In my opinion it is perfect in every way. I like that there is so much sky and only the top of such an interesting building.

This photo is great! I think you pulled off the sepia tones really nicely, and I agree with you that it looks good being darker. The flat silloette of the town and the detail in the clouds are an interesting contrast that really make the photo especially nice

I like the color and subject, your angle makes it very interesting. One improvement would be to have the beams a little bit sharper.

I am not trying to go against the grain here or anything, but I personally like the color version best. The colors are so vivid and nice, they are too rich to get rid of! Even if they change the mood. This is my favorite in your portfolio.
one complaint is the strange wavy lines on the crosses?

I really like the scene here, but I do have two major gripes. The first is the wicker basket on the left (for some reason my eye is always pulled there,) and the second is the slight glare in the window. If you are able to, I would consider taking this from a different angle, and as far as the glare, I am not sure what you can do about that, maybe try a different time of day?

Another for the snapshot enthusiast. critiques or comments welcomed

Very nice effect on this, good work as always

This is one of my first long time exposures of the type, any feedback
is welcomed.

The subject is great and I think the photo is too. If it were mine I probably would have cropped the right side out, or atleast would take a look to see if it might improve the photo. It might not, who knows. I like this shot either way!

Wow, I really like this. I could spend a good amount of time just looking. Good work

He does look happy. I like this photo and the rest of the Cuba images, they really make me want to go for myself!

I like the photo a lot, but I have to say that I am not a big fan of the photoshop filters like lens flare or any of the other effects like stained glass. I feel like the image could have done just fine without it.
