Love the symmetry!

wonderful lighting - I wonder if it might be possible to focally lighten the barn just a touch for emphasis.

Beautiful image, especially the upper half of the image. I'm not sure all the foreground does much to improve the photo.
I would recommend experimenting with either lightening the bottom half of the image a bit or editing it out altogether - leave just enough foreground to keep the sense of depth and mood.

This is about as close to a perfect image as I can imagine!
It is incredible in isolation, but also has so many commercial applications.
My advice is to make sure this does not get stolen and used - your name could easily be edited out with the simple black background.

I agree with most comments above. My short response would be simply to make the moon smaller - the scene is otherwise so strong and moody that you don't need the moon to "make it work" - I have no issue with manipulation per se, but I think this simple change would make all the difference and cross back across the line to where it "could" be real, even though no moon/landscape shots really are.
I would also recommend straightening the horizon line - those two small edits would greatly improve this very interesting image!

I love the bridge! Especially the sharpness and clarity of the structure and the sheen from the metallic top and sides.
I think the overall image might benefit from a slightly tighter crop - there is perhaps a bit too much black dead space in the upper right and top of the image that could easily be removed by cropping down from the upper bright corner until there is just a thin outline f black surroundings the powerful bridge.
i might be totally wrong, bit it would be easy to experiment with and see.
Great shot!

Thanks! No HDR, just focally worked on the moon and then the overall scene so it would not blow out. Incredible lighting that night made it easy to capture.
Thanks,

Great sky, and I love the sun rays coming around the cloud. I think the foreground trees in silhouette add a nice touch as well.
I wonder if the image would benefit from a bit of brightening of the central subject, perhaps adding some contrast to the clouds as well - this would really make your subject stand out and improve the impact of the image in my mind.

bernini's Triton at night with the Bernini hotel providing the backdrop. I found the
lighting, symmetry, and context compelling. Please let me know your thoughts.
Thanks!

I really love the image and would rate it a 6 as-is. I do think that the strength is not in the foreground, and perhaps an even tighter edit might benefit you even more.
I am going to try to upload a 1x2 crop - see what you think.
Excellent shot!

Image shot at night on recent trip to Rome with D800 & NIkon 24-70mm f
2/8 lens on tripod.
Probably my favorite sight in Rome!
I would love to her what folks like, dislike, or find just average about the
image.
I'm also curious as to which category on Photo.net others would place this
type of image - I am always a both confused with these, as it is not
particularly similar to what I see in Architecture, travel, or some of the
other categories.
And and all comments are much appreciated!

Thanks for all the helpful comments! I'll take a look at some of tresponds back in Lihtroom again, and keep the others in mind the next time I get to Bryce!

Outstanding composition in every way! The use of light and dark, texture, and color is superb!

Image taken at Bryce Canyon May 2012. Spectacular location, but one I
have found quite challenging to photograph. I have seen so many images
with an other-worldy glow from Bryce but have as yet been unable to
capture that despite seemingly being in the right place at the right time.
This image represents the best "glow" I have generated to date, but I still
feel there is more to capture!
All comments/suggestions/critiques are most welcome!

Incredible colors and nice composition. It is a bit hard to tell from the thumbnail but the image might be a bit dark and may benefit from a touch of brightening.

Beautiful image in the upper portion - however, there is too much indistinct foreground. The image would bnone fit greatly from a crop - maybe a 1x2 or 1x3 ratio to keep just a hint of grass and all of the rest of the imagery
-
Yes you are correct about the lens - sorry I posted the wrong one. For this shot I actually used the Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8.
Thanks for catching this!

This image, taken at Antelope canyon, depicts the expanse of the
anterior-most section seemingly hovering over the background texture.

Taken recently in Antelope canyon, this breathtaking structure has no
many nuances and potential interpretations it can be reinterpreted to no
end.
I found during post-processing that cooling the white balance temp a bit
brought pout the natural blue/violet hues in the front formation.

This shot was taken at Horseshoe Bend near Page AZ. While waiting for
the appropriate light to hit the bend, I looked back and saw this sky.

Marjans,
I believe you are right! I'm going to take an other stab at the editing - the colors are not correct and it is a bit too sharp as I take a second look after your comment - thanks!
