You're welcome and thanx!! ;-)

Thanks for your comment. We actually only spent a few hours on a day trip to the coast there and in the naval museum, just before it closed. But that was fun. Can't say anything else about Wilhelmshaven :-(

Hi Wolfgang, yeah, there is always that danger of 'kitsch', so you are right to be careful. But like everything else, what is 'kitsch' for one is the most beautiful piece of art for the other. And this is your piece of art and you prefer it in very soft sepia. I still think it would work very well with a little more - have a look - but in the end it is a question of what impression YOU want to convey, and then do, what you think is best, right?! Still like your version and I absolutely love the ship!!

I tend to agree with you and I posted this, because I wanted to see what others think. The original photo was pretty crappy with too much space on top - so I cropped it to square. But, then the other white flower on the bottom in the background irritated me a lot and the only way to get rid of that was to crop more. I really should have taken more time to compose the picture, but, what can I say, I was rushed to keep up with my husband ;-) No complaint, though! Thank you!

Well, thank you, Michael - I appreciate your thumbs up!

Well, thank you, Tony - really appreciate it!

oops, uploaded the original pic - sorry!!

Too much of what? Photoshop editing perhaps? The vignette? If your goal was to give the rather dramatic impression of a tough rider loving his bike, I think it worked. And the colors and everything is still pretty natural. And, I like the composition, low pov and angle at which you took this picture. Without the tree on the left it would have been even better. I took the liberty to apply some more photoshop for a more un-real, dramatic look, I hope you don't mind (too much). It is a nice shot!

I love how all lines are pointing towards the city. Very nice dof and the colors are almost overpowering, but they work so well together that it is a plus. If I had a wish for something to be changed, I would try to get this view without the shadow of the roof on the water. That - for me - would make it perfect. Very nice photo!

Nothing else really to be added to Tarek's comment. Like the colors and the composition, the way you are brought into the picture by the two shutters (?). Nice shot!

I like the angle and the shallow dof, although I had preferred to have both flags focused. Also the building (?) and other car in the background through blurred are still quite distracting. I imagine though it must be hard to get a plain background at a car show :-). Nice shot!

Taken a couple of days before Memorial Day, when the town square
(Morristown Green) was decorated with lots of small and few bigger
American flags. The reflexions of the sun were consciously placed in
the picture and the frame added in the American spirit. What do you
think? Any comments are very welcome.

Thank you! Yes, indeed, it is - almost - all about the ocean around this beautiful Greece island. Claudia

Thank you very much for taking the time re-viewing my photo and your positive comments. Claudia

Love the toning and texture and frame on this portrait. Pretty radical crop of the head, hence I'd even crop a little more off the left side. Nice shot - hmm, I seem to be drawn to your pictures ;-)

A most beautiful model and very nice high key shot. I am captivated by the eyes. However, I'd probably cut a little more off the top to balance the pic and have the eyes not right in the center and the background (toned to match the color of her eyes?) does distract me a little, maybe a little less saturation? Very nice shot!

Yes, the b&w or sepia becomes this subject very well, maybe even a little more sepia? The composition and old (ship) + new (industrial tower) work nicely together. Nice shot!

Very nice colors and sharpness throughout. Maybe let the stems fade/blur into the black, less radical? Nice photo.

I like the photo + subject, not so much the branches dangling in the top corner ;-), but I love the editing. Nice photo.
