The magenta hairs were the draw. Used a MPe to get in close. Comments
appreciated.

Stacked image - I was drawn in by the hairs on top of the petals.

I really liked the softness of the pinks receding towards the top.

Thank you one & all for your comments. If/when I get a chance to photograph gills, I will try some of the suggestions.

Robin,
Listen to Roberto. Great image, lovely soft tones, good composition. It stands on its own.

two slime molds. Ceratiomyxa is usually white, this one is a yellow
morph. The Stemonitis is still forming its sporangia. Comments
appreciated.

Len,
I like the limited soft pallet of the image. Details outstanding, exposure & DOF spot on. Thanks for this one.

Cliff,
Color, bold color. Exposure is spot on, hard to keep the orange in that harsh light without blowing it out. Well done.

Tom,
Nice strong image, very expressive. Exposure spot on, details excellent. B&W was a good choice here. Well done.

Konstantin,
Interesting image. I like the curved lines & your choice of B&W was a good one. Well done.

Stefano,
Well done, exposure is spot on in rather tricky lighting. Great mixture of circles & lines. Good eye for this one.

Andy,
The strong linear elements with the arcs o top would make this a strong image. Conceptualizing it a a cage and adding a rather aggravated feline gives this image its edge. Thanks for this one.

Marco,
As Jim said, Well seen. You saw the concept & executed it nicely. I think the image at a diagonal works much better than if it had been horizontal. Well done.
