4. Thanks. So can anyone recommend a first light that would be good? A link to a site I can purchase it would be nice. And why is this light a good first light to be used solo? What type of light is it called? And what type of bulb? I'm looking to stay from tungsten. I can go a bit over $100. Maybe to $150. And it has to be very portable with its own power supply. Thanks!
5. In the little reading I've done I see if I'm going with just one light, which is all I can afford for around $100, I should probably get a softlight. A portable one that is good for a varied photographic shoots is what I'm looking for. Can anyone suggest any good lights for this price range?
6. I'm an new photographer with a Nikon D7000. To build a portfolio I'm volunteering to take photographs of dogs and cats at an animal shelter. I need some artificial lighting as the lighting is poor there. I was think uvb because it looks most like natural light which I like. Some of the other qualities of it look like a nice choice too. Looking to spend around $100. What would any of you guys recommend? Why? And if you can explain any terms or features that would cool. And is an umbrella or any of the fill lighting accessory needed? What are they good for? Well thanks a lot, in advance.
7.
Being that this model camera is old, does it take quality pictures?

8. Hi, I have had a Nikon D7000 for a little more than 5 years. It has been rarely used. Should I get it serviced? And if so, how much will that cost? Do you really have to have DSLR cameras serviced every few years? Ty
