I was asking myself the same question last year in the Fall before buying my 5dMkII... the rumours were vague... and then I notice, searching on this forum, that the price drop is never that big after an update comes out. <br>

Having set myself a limited budget, I knew that the "new" version of the 5d would be a lot more expensive and with no due date... I finally bought my camera with the kit lens (24-70mm 2.8) through an online store and have not regretted it since !<br>

So don't wait and buy it ! </p>

I got the 28-70mm f2.8 as part of the kit and the 50mm f1.4 and the Speedlite 580, as gifts from my family ! (yes I was spoilt this Christmas...) <br>

Off to the market to take photos of the customers and stall holders !</p>

I have been visiting this website often for advice before purchasing my Canon 5d MkII which arrived on Christmas eve by post ! <br>

My name is Alexander Lowe and I live in Nyon, Switzerland by the Lake Leman (or Lake Geneva). I am interested in Architecture photography and I want to learn more on Portrait photography.<br>
