I like the quiet simplicity of this image. It illustrates the principle that less is very often more. I have photographed in most of the areas you do and know the challenges one faces in trying to create a unique image there. You are doing as good work as i've seen any where and, in fact, better than most. Keep doing what you do so well. You inspire me to to keep pushing myself to reach beyond the ordinary image. And, yes The Photo.net system doesn't work perfectly. I get frustrated with how soft my images look and the weak colors.

Hi Lalit,
This photo brings back many pleasant memories. Beginning in 1966 i have backpacked and photographed all over the Sawtooths, Whiteclouds, Hells Canyon etc. I've lived in a snow cave at Sawtooth Lake in February. I was born at St Al's and lived in Idaho for 45 yrs. Still get over there every year to see family and friends. I now live in western Oregon. My wife and i spend November thru March in an RV at Seal Rock on the Oregon coast. You are doing great work. Keep it up. Gary

This is the kind of image that has it all: dramatic, wonderful colors, great composition, very nice wave action. The rocks in the foreground draw eye the right in. As someone who does a lot of seascapes, i would be proud to create an image like this. I follow your work on the Cascadia site and you do lots of good stuff. congrats. Gary
