I acquired one of these lenses along with a Leica M-6 I bought form a friend a decade ago or more: along with several other older lenses, all fitted with adaptors for the M-6 bayonet mount. To be honest, I didn't use it until around three years ago, when I bought a Sony Alpha 7: I now use it regularly for portraits and nudes, because of the lovely low contrast and massive tendency to flare combined with excellent sharpness. The Sony EVF makes focus easy, and models love the results. Along with a Zeiss Softar filter and a couple of Lensbaby optics, it's now part of my essential kit...
