<p>David, Robin and Dieter, thank you all. Very helpful and stimulating responses, ideas. <br> I was waiting the d500 too, and on paper it seems as a great camera. I tried 200-500 but i did not like it too much, a good, sharp lens but it's slow and did not like the build so much. <br> I think i have a decision for now; will wait for the d500 and test it with sigma 150-600 or/and with another proper lens. If this does not meet my expactations, at last i will switch to 7dii+100-400 (or 400mm 5,6).<br> Thanks a lot.</p>

<p>Hi all, firstly sorry for my english, it's not my native language.<br> I am using nikon d300s, 300mm af-s F/4 and 1.4 tc ii for bird photography. It is a great lens but i cant take my desired bird in flight photographs because it's not fast enough for me. <br> I want to make some changes in my equipment. Here are some options;<br> 1- Buy canon 7d mii + 100-400 mark ii + 1,4 tc(did not use 100-400 yet)<br> 2- Buy canon 7d mii + 400 f5,6 + 1,4 tc (i used this and loved it)<br> 3- stay with the d300s + 300mm + 1,4 <br> 4- or get a sigma 150-600 sports. (did not use this yet and dont know much about its focus speed)<br> what would you suggest? is it worth to buy canon 7d mii and 100-400?<br> I am a bit confused, thanks for the comments. </p> <p> </p>
