Haha you guys trying to break my bank?
I would love to have a slr rollei & a hasselblad 2000, but I think I will just get a 150mm f4 for now.
Tim, is yours a CT or CFT?

What a disappointment, i was actually looking forward to get that fast tele lens.
Thank you for your help Q.G.

Hi guys, just a quick question regarding the 150mm F2,8 F lens.
I am currently looking to get one if this but couldn't find that many information about it apart of it's a brilliant lens.
Just to make sure, will i be able to use it on a 500CM (all i found was people talking about it on the 200 series)? Also what bay size is the lens?
Thanks in advance
Lester

Hello all
Just a curious question regarding a mirrored filter I recently got my hands on.
What are they actually good for? I googled a little but couldn't find anything about them.
Thanks in advance.
regards

Thank you all!
I think it's best for me to bring it back to the lab.

hello bob
Thanks for the advice. How can i restabilise the negatives if thats possible?
Also how long roughly will the shelf life be after wash?
thanks again

-

Hello guys
I just got some of my negatives developed and 1 of them came back with chemical stains on it and wondering how i can clean them off without damaging the negatives.
I tired to use that ICE technology but that didn't help, maybe the stain is too big.
Any advice or help would be great.
Thanks in advance.

Steve, have you used them before? I'm looking for someone to clean my viewing lens too.
Thanks

For 400 usd I probably save up a little more and wait for a bargain / beaten up 2.8 (if u are a user rather than a
collector like me)

Yea Robin, the lenses are amazing.
The silver one is the 35mm 1.7 ultron. The 50mm 1.5 is the black one. Both amazing lenses, just did a test roll.
Mukul. I just thought you said the 50/2 is the only that I can get.
-

Mukul, i think Michael is right.
I saw this "near brand new" Ultron 35mm/ 1,7 yesterday, just couldn't help it and took the little orphan home with me.

oh ok, i got it.
Yes, he's got a M adapter on the M6 body. It's a bloody nice lens, thinking to get one myself too.
Thanks guys!

Hello guys
I thought the older Leica screw mount series can't use any of the M Bayonet lenses. I just tried out a friend's Voigtlander f2 50mm M mount and it screwed onto my iiif without a problem.
We just did a few snap shots on a fresh roll and wondering how it the pictures will come up.
Am i being mis-guided to get the screw mounts?
Please advice. Thank you

Thanks in advance

Re Paul:
Yea, i think you are right, it does look like it's backwards.

-

Thanks for the comments guys!
I am going got the horizontal split image + grid. So basically all in 1. Can't wait for the upgrade!

Hello guys
I am about to upgrade my Rollei 2,8E's screen, the original is just too dark when i use it indoor sometimes.
As far as is concerned, i defiantly need grids on my screen because i mainly use my camera to shoot architectures and products.
But i am stuck deciding if i should get the split image with it or not. I would love to get some advice from you all.

Thanks in advance.

-
Oh wow Paul, u got the exact set up like mine!
Thanks for your opinion, I already got the shade quite cheap, so I might as well use it.
Still think about that uv filter, having to take it on and off to set aperture is a little annoying.
-
Thanks for your help Robert & you too Soeren!

Hello robert
Thanks for your response.
I am not sure what if those are bayonet mount, i only know them as the L39 Screw mount lens (leica iiif) * i attached the photos of my lens and shade below.
Yes, i am sure the FIKUS will fit, it will make my camera look like this *(photo no.3 by Johan Doumont). I actually wanted to get the ITOOY, but unfortunately those are just too expensive on the bay.
My only concern is only it's because the shade fit perfectly on top of the 36mm front so i don't have a gap to fit an UV filter on anymore.

Hello guys
Just got a Elmar 5cm 3,5 and just ordered a FIKUS 50-135mm (screw) lens hood.
Now i am looking for a UV filter to go along with them, but not sure if it's even possible because i couldn't find any information about it.
If any of you guys are using the same set up, please be so kind and point me to the right direction.

Thanks in advance.

Most of these gypsys are "fakes", they are just too lazy to do real work to earn money. Instead they use government
benefits, drug their own children so they won't cry when the women are busking (have u ever heard one cry? Because
I haven't). All the money then goes to romania so their lazy husband can buy booze, drugs & gamble.
The first thing to spot a fake "poor" is by their shoes. & I learnt that from a ex-homeless.

Hong Kong is probably the best, tax free everywhere and the shops on Hong kong island are very honest.
I got my iiif from London, overall condition isn't that great. As i am not a collector so i don't really care as long as it makes great shots! And i got a great price for it haha.
I am going to Hong Kong soon, gonna get a new lens.

Hasselblad 150mm F2.8 F lens question
in Medium Format
Posted
Had one on my hand this weekend. The 150mm f2.8 F is strangely quite light.
I think I might get the CF if I manage to find one with an exceptable price, the focusing ring seems to be a little smoother and easier than the C too.
