Masterful in the graphical demonstration of the time-lapse continuum. Your image is of impressionism and very nicely hooked up with the present times. DG

In my humble opinion, this is one of the most striking, artful, and environmental images. Wow" It truly makes you travel through time......and space.....to a quite magical place and environment. Surrealistically marvelous. Again, IMHO you could make your signature much more subtle, as this is, indeed, one of the most subtle graphic images in a long while. It goes to my absolute favorites, if only you could make your signature more modest. With all due respect. A wonderful moment. Thank you for sharing. With no doubt or hesitation, it is one of my favorites. I would love to see it with no signature. Your signature is ingrained in your image. This is absolutely YOURS. You have not to say who the author is.....so good it is, therefore. DG

AS YOU PROBABLY HAVE PERCEIVED, I HAVE BEEN DETACHED FROM THIS WEBSITE FOR QUITE A WHILE. I SINCERELY THINK AND IT HAS LOST it's luster. Many people have fled from this site to Instagram, which by the way utterly hate and despised. Nonetheless, it is a pleasure to see you are posting these delicate and delicious images. Not only this one but the others you have uploaded. I have been away because I have become a bit disappointed with photo net. Nonetheless I remain a faithful member. This gives me the chance to see photographs of magnificent photographers like you. My best personal regards. Daniel.

Dear PN friends. I am truly grateful for your comments, but even more so, for just taking the time to look at it. This speaks loudly for your insights. I guess I take pictures for my own enjoyment and the enjoyment of sharing with fellow photographers. Man thanks to you all. DG

Bravo. It is a rare combination so few photographers achieve between a (raw, real) scene and then converted into a much more REAL situation. You manage to imbue drama and context to an otherwise plainer photograph (yet valuable in and by itself). Sincerely, I admire your capture and later post-production to create a very, VERY powerful photo....lamentably in these crazy times, with a deranged individual with the power to ensure mutual destruction. Sorry for the editorializing. I love your work. DG
  1. Hello Michael and Giangiorgio: You really, honestly, and humbly tell you that your comments actually moved me. I take photos that I like. If some great fellow photographers such as yourselves make these overwhelming comments, I then receive just the pleasure of sharing my images with photographers. Your comments are priceless. Your comments make me so very happy and truly make my day. They convey the message that what I see through the viewfinder is definitely not something for myself that I want to keep in a trunk. When it resonates with experienced and objective stern photographers, I feel like in the clouds, relishing that I captured something that appeals to other, highly sensitive, professional, passionate photographers. Thank you dear friends....thank you Gentlemen. My best personal regards and wishes go out to you. DG

Hello Franz: a very elegant finish, color, and texture. In my humble opinion it creates an even more interesting effect than I could think of, and therefore the greenish hue you have infused into this wonderful image makes it artistic and quite unique. Bravo! DG
  2. You have matched, if not surpassed, post-modern art, regressing to "existential" art. IMHO, you have here an "existential moment". You presented it, you lived it.....and you captured. Truly admire your very personal POV. DG
  3. Yes, you do my dear friend. But more than that, you love Nature, and its extravagant displays can barely be mimicked at best, by Photography. So lucky to have this "immediate" means to capture "a" moment in Time. Thank you for taking us there, wherever you were, masterfully, as ever, photographing a moment as you wanted. "Thanks, and thanks; and ever thanks". W. Shakespeare. Yours truly, from across this magnificent and aggressive-filled Planet. Wishing you the best, the very best. Your friend. DG

Much appreciated Patrick. This image is so special, so great, so unusual, so different. It is a true treasure, that if you ever decide to sell it, you should ask for a very dear price. The detail is so enormous that it is one of the most impressive, unique, special photographs I have ever seen. The creativeness of capturing this moment is monumental. Classic art from the XV through the XVII centuries. Worthy of the top art/photograph galleries. With your kind indulgence, this must be in my absolute top favorites. DG

Utterly magnificent. A work of art. The image of a dream. Impressionism and photography to the limits. Bravo! DG
  4. Hello Ilan. I have been in photography for over half a century. Currently taking a course on the evolution of art. Long story short this is exactly what I argued how about Guggenheimer Himes cart curator determines what is art. In my opinion, this photograph is undisputably art, modern photography, or the other way around, that is, like turning a grapefruit inside out. Congratulations. DG

Classic. Delicate. Refined. Quiet. Soothing. Your image invokes these adjective and many others pertaining to Nature's Beauty and Gifts for us..... DG

Simply exquisite. You are able to take the observer on a trip to Nature's Beauty and whims, and to a period in time where you probably experience silence, peace, solitude, and the rawness of Creation. DG
  5. Hello John Giorgio. My deepest respect for this masterful work of art. In my humble opinion, this is this belongs on a different and higher level I. It's minimalism it's so complex that it is pure art. I cannot catalog it as of the renaissance or post-modern. You leave me a very heavy, yet pleasurable and enjoyful homework. My regards and congratulations. And my thanks. DG
  6. Again, kind gentlemen. I bow in respect and appreciation for your thoughtful words. Giangiorgio, I am an avid follower and pupil of your fine work. So I feel like a comment of a Master and/or Teacher, thus my sincere thanks. DG
  7. Ciao Giangiorgio, Arthrur and Wayne. I hope you are well. Each of your comments is so very valuable to me, as I can read a distinctly different approach of every one of you. I, therefore, am humbled and honored for your deep thoughts that boil through your comments. I take your comments very seriously and hold them very dear to me. My best regards to you, individually and personally. DG

Hello Evgeni: I don't know where to begin. I have been looking through your most artistic, sensible, delightful array of magnificent winter photos, but especially of lonely trees and black and white. Both are my weaknesses that truly move me when I see photographs of this superb quality and mastery. I dare say no more, as I would have to comment on at least a dozen of your magnificent Winter images. My sincere admiration and congratulations. DG

BW is a soft spot for me. Nonetheless, rather, because of that, I am more attuned to wonderful captures that shine and stand out in BW, like this lonely and magnificent composition. It may look simple to beginners, but it is rich and complex. I am very attuned with this kind of photography, and with this photograph in particular. Congratulation and immediately into my favorites, to study it further and enjoy the moment you so kindly share with us. DG

Mon cher et fidèle ami. Again you have a very special taste and style. Difficult to discern whether it's an object or an abstract which makes it more interesting and challenging. You are a true, proven, special, one-of-a-kind photographer. I so much enjoy your views and your Interesting proposals for the ones like me that delve into truly interesting subjects and photographic techniques. Is it maybe the portrait of a black hole in this unfathomable Cosmos? Bravo! DG
