    Also, how do I put an image into the big black block on the top of the page where my portfolio gallery is? Before it was a generic bubble picture, and now I would like to add my own image there. Thank you.

      Go to "my portfolio" and pick a photo you want to replace the bubbles as "set cover photo", this will then replace the bubble placeholder

    Glenn - Enjoying the new web site. From experience I can appreciate the difficulty converting an old web site to new, and the gripes and groans that come with it. Photo.net needed the upgrade. A few things get lost but other things are gained. Change is a hassle for sure but life becomes so boring without it. I appreciate your work and I for one feel like Photo.net has had new life breathed into it. Thanks.

    I see my thread complaining about the poor implementation of the new site was locked down. What's that about, can't take the heat? Why isn't anyone stepping up and addressing all the complaints?

      We are as evidenced by numerous replies and members helping by crowdsourcing answers to questions, but we won't take abusive language and treatment, thus your banning. We will not reward repetitive negative attacks with responses.

      I would recommend do this in post processing. Photo.net 1.0 did allow for that - however the expectation is that these days photographer was some level of process post pulling photos out of memory card before they upload - choose the right orientation - portrait vs landscape.

      If you go to my favorites and click on photographers, you will see all recent uploads by photographers you follow

    Thank you for your hard work revamping the site...the rating system no longer exists and the digital alterations category doesn’t as well...are we not allowing digital alterations as a category and can we get a rating system up and running again...thanks....David

    Like the old Joni Mitchel song "...sometimes you don't know what you've got till its gone". Virtually all of the features I found interesting are gone or hidden and I haven't found them. Very annoying to have a screen name instead of my real name. Possibly 3 times is the charm. I'll keep checking back. No reply necessary. All the best to you moving forward.

      Thank you Sandy - much like getting a new car - you don't always know how to turn the headlights on or where the wipers are but eventually you get familiar to your new car and fully enjoy it. Can you be more specific on all of the features you found interesting that you havent found? Forums are powered by Xenforo - they have thought of almost everything AND improving with every release.
