<p>Hi Rene, Paniqui Tarlac is a safe place in my opinion compared to Cebu. Personally I would choose Vigan in the north where you will find Spanish era churches and houses in their original state. If you are traveling by car I see no problem. I am not from that place but I did some contracting work there and employed locals and I find them to be honest people. But then I suggest you stay in a hotel and don't leave your equipment unattended and this is true any place in the world. I am assuming you know somebody from there and that's the reason you chose that place. If you speak the dialect then you can mingle as a local else be sure to visit the barangay captain for a respectful visit. My advice to bring only one camera(D300) and 2 zoom lenses from 24 to 70 and a 70 to 200.</p>

<p>Hi Ryan, as you probably know contrast is an interplay of lights, separating your subject from background since this is a location photo shoot it might be a challenge. The color of your subjects hair, the dress she will wear (high contrast colors) Lighting control is the key and you might need to bring your equipment on location. But all this must fit the price you will ask from her. So at this point you need to do your math and consider different scenarios to fit her budget. You will be the camera man, lighting director, prop stylist and fashion advisor. I hope this doesn't scare you. There are things you can do in photoshop but nothing beats the original negative, digital or film.</p>

In other words when you click that shutter you have a picture in your mind of what you want to convey in your image taking into consideration the lighting you have at hand. What film to use, the type of developer, and print paper to use. All these have a profound effect on your final product. But this would entail a lot of experimentation on your part. Acufine is good if you shot a contrasty scene but want to extract those middle tones and want to keep the whole image cool and keep those highlights in check but at the same time maintaining a 3 dimensional effect.</p>
