Is the .85 version more expensive then the .72?
I have a .85 I was going to trade for a .72.
Wasn't sure if I should "lose" money or "gain" money
-
I have already read the cameraquest site.
if the viewfinder has problems, can this be fixed cheaply?
Cost of a CLA?
-
I have been reading up on the M3 camera. As I think this is for me.
I have a few questions on the variations and what to look for in a
user camera.
Single vs double stroke?
Glass vs Metal pressure plate??
Canada vs Germany
Some have selectable finders??
Damaged Vulcanite? Replace it or repair?
-
MC could also mean Multi-Coated
I have seen MD on mounts, not MC

I just got my (new to me) Hasselblad 500CM camera.
This one has the Hasselblad Acute-Matte screen in it.
I had purchased a Brightscreen for my old 500C, but did not know I
couldn't change it.
Anyway, I swapped the screens out.
I can't see much difference in brightness between the Acute-Matte
and Brightscreen.
There is a big difference between these and my original 500C screen.
Is the hasselblad Acute-Matte the brightest screen for my camera?

It would probably be cheaper just to buy a view camera...
-
Looks fine for a RZ camera.
-
They look like duplicates to me.
Two 21mm and two 55mm tubes..
I doubt I will keep any of them, besides 1 of the 21mm tubes
-
I bought the tubes like this.
I turned the screw a bit, it must have jiggled out of alignment..
Now I have all 4 a part.... I am trying to take them apart so I can sell the extras...
thanks
-
That is what I tried to do
They have a bit of play, but they will not budge

I picked up a set of Hasselblad extension tubes (all black)
they have a button on them, but I can't get them to come apart
I didn't want to force them
Any suggestions?
I finally got a 500C to try out.
Much smaller and lighter then my RZ67!!!
Going to sell the RZ to finance some more Hassy glass!!!

Like night and day!
thanks

I purchased a F4s nikon SLR camera.
The bottom display in the viewfinder is rather dim.
It appears the be lit by external light.
Is there an internal light for this display?
It is rather hard to read.
Or is this just the design of the camera?
-
I picked up a 500C camera
It is much smaller/lighter then my RZ67

Going to sell the RZ67

I don't think they do mail order, and they have some tight restrictions.
As I said, $13 for 2 rolls of 120 processing, scanning and printing proofs.
They only work with Kodak and Fuji Pro films, no exceptions.
You also have to have a business account.
-
I should probably say I am refering to the 500C 500CM series cameras.
-
My local Pro lab has been doing a great job on my 6x7 negatives.
4x5 proof prints, index print, scanned hi-res on a CD
2 rolls of 120 film cost $13 to have done..
Now if I switch to 6x6 negative, what is the standard proof size?
4x4? or will they probably crop to 4x5? I plan on asking them, just
wanted to know what everyone else gets.
-
I initialy bought the RB67 camera, and the biggest quirk which I
could not deal with was having to advance the film and shutter on 2
different knobs.
Upgrading to the RZ67 solved this problem...
Does the knob on the hasselblad cock the shutter and advance the film?
Or are these separate operations?
-
I see the standard 500CM kit 80mm/2.8 weights 3 lb 7 oz and the standard Mamiya RZ67 kit 110mm/2.8 weights 5 lb 8oz.
2lb's seems like a lot..
I just need to get my hands on a hasselblad, to see how the viewfinder is.
-
Have you compared the maxwell with the OEM Acute-matte
-
The 500C series cameras seem to be a bit cheaper in the used market.
so I picked one up....
I see that the 500CM allows focus screens to be changed by the user.
Which I will probably only do once.
Since I plan on having this 500C cleaned and checked out, I thought I
would just upgrade the focus screen.
I see there is a brighter screen that can replace the stock screen
accute-matte?
But there are also 3rd party screens...
Any thoughts or suggestions. If the price of the screen does not
matter, since it will be a one time deal.
I plan on using 50mm/4.0 80mm/2.8 and 150mm/4.0 With the waistlevel
finder.
-
I think I might do so...
I just wasn't sure if there was a dedicated hasselblad forum..
-
How would you describe the older look??
The best optical qualities are simply less expensive with the RZ, unless you like the "older" look of the Zeiss 80, 150, regular 250
-
I currently own the mamiya 150mm/3.5 lens..
This lens is amazing sharp and gives a nice 3d image.
Much better then my DSLR with 85mm lens.
I am going to purchase a Hasseblad with 150mm/4.0
Probably the older chrome lens.
I will have to shoot these side by side....
Canon 28mm/3.5 I can still see the blades when wide open
in Leica and Rangefinders
Posted
When I have the lens set to f3.5 I can still see the very edges of the
blades.
Is this normal for this lens? Anyone else have one?
This is very compact on my M6
thanks!
