Rudolf, poster behind is the painting of the Georgian artist Niko Pirosmani (http://www.pirosmani.org/marias/). Mey I ask you where you got such a big poster of this painting? This is really cool. I would love to have one.
As for the photo, knowing Pirosmani's works as a primitivists, this model and set-up fits perfectly. Good job.

The Moon is digitally rotated. This is about 180c rotation. Neverthe less this is a good picture.
I also attach my picture shot handheld Canon EOS 40D, EF 70-200 J f/4. Spot metering, -1 underxposed.

One of first images with new DSLR. I have some doubts with about
digital photography but anyway, here it is. Please critique.

This is another proof that film photography is superior to digital.
To me this photo has 70's appeal and this makes it even better.
cood composition, fantastic colors, beautiful model.
Super!
Thanks!

Reminds me of golden era of Polish cinematography of 60-70's. well done.

interesting indeed. put it in frame, this might help with the feeling of "something-is-missing".

...as always. Your photos, comments, attitude make me feel a bit elevated. Thanks.

What would you suggest to improve it?

The year I was born, in different country (which doesn't exist anymore) and in different world. But this photo looks like photos of my father taken in 70-ies. That time had very special vibe.
As for the photo - it is as good as most of your works!

First I thought highlights were bit over lighten, but then I realized that face is the primary object of the photo its perfect.
Nina, since its your self-portrait I find this to be the most appropriate place for my comment. Your portfolio is simply amazing. To me your works are exactly what I believe to be the idea of photography a portrait. There is no snowy rocky mountain or crimson sunset that will compare to human face in its diversity and depth. Nature has four seasons, but human face 4 thousand. Unfortunately I didnt master in portraits, but I can appreciate works of others. Well done indeed. Also, your photos show how happy your family life is. Its wonderful.

I already commented this photo, but couldn't resist commenting again. I believe it to be a good example of what great photo is. It excellently seizes frosty Russian winter and delivers it in beautiful composition.
Well done!
