I think if I stare at this photo long enough, I will definitely see a ghost. You've captured the mood perfectly. Love it! Love the title! All the best, Beth

Wow! What a find! Great colors, great textures. Seems to be a wee bit crowded at the top. But all in all, a wonderful capture! Regards, Beth

Wonderful capture, great processing! (..a wee bit past time to dust.) Love it. All the best, Beth

Very close to perfection! I like this very much! Congrats. All the best, Beth

Beautiful image! Brings back memories of the sideboard in my Grandmothers' kitchen. I like this very much! Regards, Beth

Ditto what James said. Great post processing! The jet contrails in the distance jarred me back from that warm feeling of nostalgia...nice catch. I'm adding this to my favorites. All the best, Beth

Karl, I'm humbled to get this positive critique from such an accomplished photographer. I took a tour through your portfolio and I stand in awe. Your kind words are truly appreciated. Best regards, Beth

Mike, thanks for your critique. Actually I did soften it purposely using DreamySuite because I like the effect.
And I'm embarrassed to admit I didn't know it was acceptable to upload larger sizes. I've often wondered how some photos can be clicked on and enlarged....shows my amateur status. Thanks again.

Beautiful image. I love the title. Regards, Beth
(BTW, the self portrait on your bio page is hands down the best on PN.)

Thanks Ruud for taking time to come by and comment. Always appreciated.
Drew, we just celebrated our 39th wedding anniversary on June 20th, and we have more fun now than ever. ;)

Olaf, actually it is sort of a set-up. This is my husband being his usual unrestrained self. He says, "Hey, look at me..." So I did.
Thanks for your comments.

I think you succeeded in capturing the mood of the cemetery perfectly. This is an outstanding image. It is a shame the garbage bin is there, but cropping it would take away too much of the overall ambiance. Just my personal opinion...this is close to the perfect shot. Regards, Beth

I think I would have named it "Oh, Narcissus!"
