Contact info for above is "marvelousmr@hotmail.com" . Will also mention it has a later double latch film back.
The focus screen does not have a split center focusing aid . It was just film tested at different apertures and shutter
speeds and all exposures were fine . Thanks for looking , Peter

Do you have access to any of the other lens to verify that's the problem ? Peter

Someday I'll actually get the text included with the pic . This was taken a few days ago on the Sea To Sky Hwy north of Vancouver .
Had my Pentacon 6 TL loaded with Tri-X and my MIR 45 lens . Rather cold winter this year and lots of photo ops if you dress correctly .
What that means , is I was wearing my new Xmas gift battery heated vest :) . Peter

I believe the European conflict ( 2nd WW) was not simply an "American" involvement .
Hence my mention of Japan . Just kinda clarifying my earlier remark .

How many places has American military presence and involvement proven to have had a lasting positive effect ? Possibly Japan ? Peter

As they say 'be careful what you wish for' they were gutless even 1/2 century ago :) . Peter
I've worked on the 45's and 80's , the former hopeless and the latter , well , they could keep up with traffic !

^^ Geez , and I thought I suffered from GAS :) ! Peter

Now that should be a task ! Getting the mirror mechanisms to jive sounds a bit past an idle hobby tinkerer .
And at the price of Mamiya 7's , . Peter

Any pictures to give us an idea of what to maybe suggest ,( in case it's similar to other models ). Peter

I had an L-208 for years , dropped in the ocean ( they don't call me Klutz , for nothing ) and promptly ordered
another to replace it . If there was an exposure problem , it was me screwing up the film speed setting or
twisting the dials on the camera backwards :) . Why look any further , it's even cheaper when on sale and
you've spent little if not satisfied ! Peter

Hoe timely , we have a couple of apple trees in our front yard and they have suffered from the same bug holes in them ! They even appear to be the same type . Peter

^ I don't think you're going to see any tears shed here concerning it's "ALL MANUAL" :) . Peter

Quite the story behind that bike ! Thanks for the link . Peter

If it is a featherbed frame it's been much modified . The featherbed was a swingarm frame and this looks to be a hardtail !
But crazier things have been done to bikes over the years . (I had put a 1974 XLCH Sportster motor in a featherbed frame)
back in my misspent youth :) . Peter

Does it make this sound with film loaded ? I don't remember my Mamiya 7 ( not 7 II ) making that sound , I
sold it around a year ago , so I can't recheck it for you :( . Peter

Well after the 250mm lens , that does almost look manageable :D ! Thanks for the pic , I too enjoy the speed grip
for pretty much everything I do with this camera . Peter
