1.
Dear JC Uknz,
Do I understand that you prefer Dan's method to using the EOS Utility?
Thank you & Best Regards,
Basil Ismail.

 2.
Dear Dan,
Your suggestion is logical but don't you think that by using it (instead of EOS Utility) you will be downloading all photos on the camera's SD card each time you carry out a "download", unless you delete photos each time you download(which I don't do)?. The EOS Utiliy allows storage of photos by the date they are taken and gives the option of downloading photos "which are not yet downloaded".
Thank you for your suggestion. I will continue to try to get my EOS Utility to work properly and will let you know if I succeed.
Best Regards,
Basil Ismail.

 3.
Dear Mr. Devon McCarroll,
Thank you very much for your prompt response. I have tried all the solutions suggested in the link you gave me but I regret to inform you that the problem still prevails. I now have EOS Utility Version 2 installed. My computer has a Windows 7 ( 64-bits) operating system.
Best Regards,
Basil Ismail.

 4.
I have an EOS 650 D camera. I have been using the "EOS utility" software to download my photos from it to my PC. Suddenly and when activating this soware, it displays " Monitor Folder" and I just don't know how to exit it and go back to "Start to download images"and as it has been doing before...your help is greatly appreciated.
